I Ni Che

I Ni Che – the title is a greeting in the Bambara language used by the people of Mali – tells the story of a small charity, the Mali Development Group, founded by former probation officer John Hedge and his wife a little over 25 years ago. It describes the country, its challenges and its beauties and the many adventures of John, his wife, friends and co-workers as they worked to make life just a little bit better for these engaging, sociable and hard-working people.
